A PDF planner you write in by hand, on a tablet with a stylus, inside a note-taking app. It feels like paper, but every tab and date is a link, so you tap to jump between pages.

An iPad with an Apple Pencil (or another tablet with a stylus) and an app that opens PDF files with hyperlinks. planner48 is designed and tested on iPad with GoodNotes. It should also work in other apps with hyperlinks, such as Notability, or Noteshelf on Android.

planner48 is tested on iPad with GoodNotes, not on Android. It should work in Android apps that support PDF hyperlinks, such as Noteshelf or Samsung Notes, but I can’t guarantee every app and device. The +ADD shortcut needs an Apple device.

You can open it in GoodNotes on iPhone and Mac, but planner48 is made for an iPad in portrait mode. Writing by hand works best on an iPad with an Apple Pencil.

Pick the day your week begins. In the Monday version every week and calendar begins on Monday; in the Sunday version it begins on Sunday. Everything else is the same.

Open the Start Here pages. They explain map + boost and how the planner works in a few minutes. You don’t need a perfect setup: a rough vision and one clear goal are enough to begin.

No. It’s undated, so you can start any day you like. The 2027 and 2028 calendars help you mark which block and week you’re in.

1. Download the PDF and save it to your device (on iPad: the Files app).
2. Open your app and choose Import (in GoodNotes: + → Import).
3. Select the planner48 PDF. Do the same for notebook12.

Yes, as long as it’s just you. Use your app’s own sync (for example iCloud in GoodNotes) to keep the same planner on your devices.

In GoodNotes, links may only respond in read-only mode. Switch to read-only (tap the pen icon in the top toolbar), tap the link, then switch back to write.

A free Apple Shortcut that sends an event or reminder from your planner to Apple Calendar, Reminders or Google Calendar in one tap. It works on Apple devices only (iPad, iPhone, Mac). Install it once with the shortcut guide that comes with your files.

No. planner48 is a PDF, so it works like a paper planner. Use +ADD when you want a single event in your digital calendar.

Yes. Duplicate any page in your app as often as you need, for example an extra note or flow page.

Yes. They are two separate files with the same pages, so you can use either one, or one for work and one for personal life. Your notes stay in the file you wrote them in.

planner48 has 539 pages and 11.600+ links, so give your app a moment. Make sure the app is up to date, close other open notebooks and restart the app. If it’s still slow, email me and I’ll help.

You can print pages for your own use, but the links won’t work on paper. A printable version is coming soon.
